Hamstead Hall Academy Sixth Form 2016-2017



Established in 1994, Hamstead Hall Sixth Form Centre is one of the most successful post 16 provisions in Birmingham. The number of students has continued to grow each year with an increasing number of students joining us from other schools. Hamstead Hall Sixth Form has a long standing tradition of achieving high quality examination results. In 2016, all students achieved A* - E grades and over 50% of our students achieved
A* - B grades. We are also delighted that over 90% of students have progressed onto University courses.

If you wish to apply for Hamstead Hall Sixth Form then download the Application form below. Once you've filled in everything, save the document under your name and e-mail the form to Alternatively you can post the application form to the academy for the attention of the Sixth Form Team.

External Applications

If you are an external candidate then please ensure that your current head of year completes the reference form which can be found below. It needs to be attached and e-mailed to                               Ensure that they include Application Reference Form in the subject field.                                                                                      Do not wait for your school to complete the reference form. They can send the reference form to us at a later date but we cannot process your application until the reference arrives.

Conditional Offers

All Provisional enrolments are confidential on achieving specific grades at GCSE. Conditional offers will be confirmed once you have had a successful interview. 

Students who do not achieve the required grades should inform the academy when the results are received. It may be possible to place you on an alternative pathway/course.


Enrolment will occur during the first week of September and all applicants must provide original documentary evidence of GCSE results or equivalent. Proof of identity is also essential during the enrolment process. Failure to provide all of this information will mean that we are unable to guarantee the confirmation of your offer.
