Inclusion Home
The inclusion team at Hamstead Hall Academy helps in all areas of the school. We have a background of delivering innovative projects to young people from various backgrounds across Birmingham. At Hamstead Hall Academy our team provides support by aiming to the bridge the gap between pupils and staff. This is achieved by setting up extra-curricular programmes such as youth clubs, afterschool sports activities, providing team building activities for Year 7 pupils on Friday mornings, and helping to lead the Academy’s young people’s parliament.
We also provide logistical support to the academy. The team looks after medical support throughout the day, as well as provide lessons covers when required. Due to our extensive links within the community, we also aid the provision of provide volunteering opportunities during our school holiday playschemes and at local primary schools.
Alongside delivering holiday playschemes, we deliver an afterschool club programme for the local area. We provide P.E lessons throughout the term for a local primary school, we also have specialist staff who provide active kids days and deliver forest school lessons throughout the year.
