Holiday Programme

Hamstead Hall Academy is a vibrant, dynamic and interactive Academy. We take great pride in ensuring that all users:

As a department, we aim to be an inclusive learning community. One of our targets is to improve the school’s community engagement and to provide opportunities for vulnerable young people to engage in new meaningful activities. These activities include rock climbing, archery, forest school style activities, orienteering, team building, various sports, arts and crafts, cookery, dance, drama, various trips to places of interest and loads more.

Summer Holiday Provision Dates & Times

Week 1- Monday 20th - Thursday 23rd July(10am-2pm)- Free of Charge*

Week 2- Monday 27th - Thursday 30th August (10am-2pm)- Free of Charge*

Week 3- Monday 3rd - Thursday 6th August(10am-2pm)- Free of Charge*

Week 4- Monday 10th - Thursday 13th August (10am-2pm)- Free of Charge*

Week 5- Monday 17th - Friday 21st August(10am-2pm)- MUST PAY

Our scheme will be open every Friday but at a cost of £10 per child (10am- 2pm).

Note: All additional hours are subject to a charge of £5 per club segment.

*Your child can access our holiday club free of charge Monday to Thursday if they have Special educational needs or disabilities, are eligible to free school meals or are classified as vulnerable children.

The scheme will run between the hours of 10am – 2pm enabling our attendees to take part in 3 fun-filled activities per day. Alongside this, if your child fits the criteria above, then they are eligible to access a main meal, a snack and a drink, all free of charge. Alternatively, they are welcome to bring their own packed lunch. We recommend that all young people bring a refillable water bottle to ensure they stay hydrated throughout the day.

Please note: We do offer a breakfast club (8am- 10am) and afterschool club (Segment 1: 2pm- 4pm & Segment 2: 4pm- 6pm). All additional hours are subject to a charge of £5 per child per club segment. For example: If you would like your child to attend our breakfast club between 9am and 10am, you still will be charged the full £5 for that session.

If your child has any additional needs or disabilities, please contact us beforehand. This will allow us to ensure we have the necessary staff in place.
