Year 11 Parents/Carers Virtual Webinar Meeting
Tuesday 9th November at 6pm
At Hamstead Hall Academy, we recognise that this is a crucial year in your child’s education. We would like to invite you to a Virtual Webinar meeting on Thursday 9 November at 6pm. The meeting will last for approximately one hour and we will look at how the academy can support you and your child to prepare for their GCSE examinations in May and June 2022.
The meeting will give you the opportunity to consider some of the issues your child may face in this challenging year and offer some solutions which may help students overcome them. In addition, we will look at aspects of revision and offer various methods that your child could use to help them succeed in all subject areas. You will also be informed about the current information provided from the examination boards.
The meeting will consist of short sessions on the following themes:
• Parental Support
• Behaviour, Attendance & Expectations
• Wellbeing & Social Media
• Study Skills
• Revision Strategies & Timetable
• How to Find More Information About Subjects & Further Support
• Sixth Form & Careers
It is vital that both you and your child attend this online meeting as the issues discussed will have a direct impact on their success.
