Academy Trust Estates Manager

Are you a committed team player with excellent organisational skills and experience of site management in an educational and/or a multi-site environment?  If so, Hamstead Hall Academy Trust would like to hear from you.

The Directors are looking to appoint an Academy Trust Estates Manager.
This newly created specialist role will join our central team based in Birmingham .  Working with the Executive Principals, Finance Director, Director of Estates, Headteachers and site staff, the successful candidate will have the ability to drive refurbishment and capital programmes and be responsible for the Trust Estates Management Plan.

Hamstead Hall is a highly successful, heavily oversubscribed 11 – 18 Academy.

The Directors of the Trust are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic teacher with integrity, compassion and vision for the post of Head of Science.  The successful candidate will understand, value and nurture the Academy's ethos whilst building on the department’s success to date.  

We are looking for someone who is:

  • An outstanding and effective classroom practitioner with a proven track record of raising standards
  • An excellent communicator with interpersonal skills and can think strategically
  • Knowledgeable about the Science curriculum across key stages 3 – 5.
  • Experienced in implementing strategies to improve attitudes to learning and outcomes
  • A strategic thinker who will inspire staff and students to reach their full potential 
  • A warm person with high levels of emotional intelligence and a sense of humour.
  • We offer a range of courses including:

GCSE: Combined Science and Triple Science.

A level: Biology, Chemistry, Physics and BTEC L3 Forensic Science and Criminal Investigation. All courses are popular and highly successful.

Academy Trust Finance Bursar

Full-time, 36 ½ hours per week. 

The Directors are seeking to appoint an Academy Trust Finance Bursar to support the Director of Finance and Support Services with the financial administration of the Academy Trust.

Duties will cover: producing management accounts, reconciling the balance sheet accounts, maintaining forecasting models, Issuing budget statements.

You will need to have excellent administration skills and have the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.
