Hamstead Hall GCSE Results

We are delighted to report another excellent set of GCSE results for our students. Students completed the new, more challenging GCSEs and it is to their credit that they have risen to the challenge. 61% of our students have achieved the new "standard" pass at grade 4 or higher (Equivalent to the 'old' grade C) in English and Maths. In addition, 40% of our students have achieved the new "strong" pass of a grade 5 or higher, which represents a fantastic achievement. The overall attainment of students has risen from previous years and we are very proud of them.

There has been a strong increase in the top grades with the percentage of grades at a 7 or higher rising to 15%. Several of our students achieved grades 7, 8 and 9 in most of their subjects. As a fully inclusive academy, with a SEND Resource Base, we are very proud that all students have passed GCSE or equivalent qualifications and can move onto the next stage of their educational journey.

We are delighted for all our students who have worked so hard with the staff this year. This is a testament to the partnership we have with our supportive parents who can be so proud of their children. We look forward to welcoming many of the students into our successful sixth form in September for the next stage of their education.
